Meet Hannah

Meet Hannah

Meet Hannah!  She contacted me in April about mentoring her for her photography internship at TCC.  As a fellow TCC Digital Media graduate, of course I said “YES!”  Here is what Hannah has been up to lately.

Hannah chose Emily Constance Photography to complete her TCC internship!

In Her Words

Hi! My name is Hannah Troutman and I am a student at Tulsa Community College. I started my education at Central Tech in Drumright, OK in the Graphic Design program. I attended that program from 2008-2010. From there I attended Tulsa Community College where I received my Liberal Arts degree in Spring 2015. I took some time off and decided to go back to get my second associates degree in Spring 2016. What made me go back is that I knew I wanted to do something on the lines of being a photographer and have my own business, so I decided to get an associates degree in Digital Media so I could have the background of the Adobe programs. I am currently in my last semester….woohoo! Doing an internship was my last check off the list to finishing my degree and I knew I wanted to be an intern for a professional photographer. My teacher suggested Emily Mason and everything just fell into place. I love being Emily’s intern. She has a lot of great knowledge that I know will help me start up my own business. I have enjoyed getting her input with my own editing project and shadowing her at her photo sessions. I love photography and I hope that as soon as I finish my degree I will be able start my own business from my hometown.

I am born and raised from a small town called Oilton, Ok. It is located about 50 miles west of Tulsa. I come from a big family and I have always loved being the family photographer. I am the one that you’ll see tons of family pictures uploaded to Facebook! I am married and have four wonderful fur babies. Kratos (dog) who is 5 years old, Riggins (cat) who is 3 years old, Ares (dog) who is 2 years old, and Autumn (dog) who is a year old. They are my pride and joy!
