After photographing her engagement session on the coldest day of the year, we ended up photographing Vicky’s bridal portraits on the hottest day of the year! Instead of melting in the Oklahoma heat, she decided to have her bridal portraits taken at Restore House Broken Arrow starting in the bridal suite.
There are some really unique Broken Arrow wedding venues. And Restore House Broken Arrow is certainly one of them. It is a one-of-a-kind event venue located in the Rose District on Main Street. It is the only building of its kind in the area! What I like about it is that it is a historic house with rustic charm which offers a classic background for any bridal or wedding celebration!
Plus, is perfect for anyone who is laid back. If you want a venue within walking distance to downtown BA with attention to detail, then this is the venue for you!
From the gated entry to the lawn to the classic landscaping to the Victorian home and extensive grounds, Restore House Broken Arrow has anything you could need in one spot. I’ve captured so many weddings over the years and it is one of my favorites!
Oh, and did I mention that the temperature was in the 90s and it was humid the day we photographed Vicky’s bridal portraits? Well, that’s where having air conditioned indoor areas with nice light, and an experienced photographer helps!
And Restore House Broken Arrow has tons of indoor and outdoor spaces to photograph including an open air pavilion built from reclaimed wood dating back to the 1900’s. When you are planning your own Oklahoma wedding, thinking about the weather should be a consideration. But when you have a versatile venue, you don’t have to worry about a thing!
Vicky, thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer! I can’t wait to share images from your engagement session & wedding!
