I can’t wait to show you Vanessa & Paul’s wedding at St. Anne Broken Arrow! Vanessa met Paul on Catholic Match. He proposed to her in June at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton shrine. They decided to set their wedding date for January 4th since that is St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s feast date!
Vanessa put on her wedding dress at the church. She was nervous, but excited! Paul arrived and the couple did a First Prayer in the church around a corner so they could pray together without seeing each other.
Next, the moment that everyone had been waiting for – the ceremony. Fr. Kastl presided over the Mass. and pronounced them as Mr. and Mrs. Corbitt. Vanessa and Paul were all smiles as they walked out of the sanctuary!
After family portraits, it was time for the reception. Vanessa and Paul entered the reception to the Star Wars Imperial March! Here are a few of my favorite images:
Doesn’t it look like they had a blast?
Toward the end of the evening, I photographed Vanessa & Paul’s claddagh rings. They are so unique I just had to find out more! I learned that a claddagh ring is a traditional Irish ring. The crown stands for loyalty, the heart stands for love, and the hands stand for friendship. I can’t think of more fitting symbolism for these two!
Thank you, Vanessa, for choosing me to photograph your wedding at St. Anne Broken Arrow. It was such a wonderful day! You and Paul are so happy together and it makes me happy. I wish you many years of good health and happiness together!
