Prepare to be transported into a dreamy world of pure bridal perfection with this styled photoshoot at The Mansion at Woodward Park.
How blessed can one photographer be? I was given the opportunity to work with six models and the most amazing wedding vendors at a venue I’ve been quietly in love with since the first time I saw it online. In real life, it’s even more stunningly elegant.
Let me take you through the three parts of our styled shoot at The Mansion at Woodward Park.
For the ceremony images, Sara and Dean modeled gorgeous bridal outfits by Bella Rose Bridal. I have to let you in on the secret that they are married in real life. You can see and feel the love between them, can’t you?
A modern and chic archway decorated with blue and white hydrangeas and greenery was created by Flowers by Felicia. There is beauty in simplicity and this fashion-forward archway is the perfect example. Then the florist brought the drama with the bride’s bouquet that featured the archway florals and more exotic blue-hued flowers wrapped in rich blue and cream velvet.
There could be no backdrop more exquisite than the giant arch windows that let in gorgeous rays of natural light. I was in heaven because it was the most stunning bridal sight when her veil was flowing freely and they were in the love-vibes moment as much as me! For an intimate wedding ceremony, this room that also has a classic fireplace, is everything.
Next, we had a bridal portrait session. Ani is a natural beauty and an aspiring professional model. After seeing her graceful moves during the styled photoshoot I would say she’s going to achieve her goal effortlessly.
Pure Belle by Mar did a beautiful job on the make-up for Ani and the other girls and hair artist Sam Palmer designed three chic hair designs. Ani wore a form-fitting lace gown with a plunging neckline and low back. Her train featured an intricately-designed pattern at the bottom and the long bell-bottomed sleeved added another level to the wow factor of her complete look. A bright splash of color in her bouquet was just right.
Wild Rose Creative supplied stationery that had stylish hints of vintage romance. These pretty details make wedding days extra special.
For the engagement shoot, Rebecca and Justin arrived at the mansion with a lot of excitement and energy. Guess what – they just got engaged! We took photos outdoors around the gardens of the mansion with a vintage bike to carry her yellow-infused sunflower bouquet and hat. A delicious charcuterie board by Sara and Sofia Board and Event Styling matched our summery vibe of the day. Sunset light filtered through the trees and look how charming and whimsical this garden engagement photoshoot turned out.
It is interesting to see how this venue can perfectly suit three sets of differently-styled models. All were beautiful and photogenic and a huge thanks to all the vendors who supported this shoot with their professional dedication and outstanding talents. What a team, what a day – I hope this gives you a little inspiration for your engagement or wedding day photography. Be excited!
